In Alfama, hop onto the Boi-Cavalo restaurant
The rhythm inside the kitchen is the same felt in the streets.
This signature cuisine restaurant stands on what was once a butchery and is a success in the gastronomic panorama of Lisbon.
With rock music, meat hooks on the walls ans tattooed chefs, the Boi-Cavalo restaurant has a unique aesthetic that makes it one of the star-restaurants in the Alfama/Mouraria districts.

The service is sometimes slow, but the fusion of flavors of Portuguese tradition with new methods of cooking is worth the wait. Is is recommended to make reservations
